Ajinomoto Gourmet Orange Chicken with Fried Rice |
This turned out to be a very good substitute for the restaurant's orange chicken. The chicken turned out great and the sauce was right. The fried rice was very good despite missing some real ingredients. The only bad thing was that it takes time to cook this entree correctly. This is excellent if you want to spend some time at home cooking with a restaurant taste. |

Shumai / Shao Mai |
 |
Ajinomoto Shrimp Shumai |
Very soft after cooking and can't really taste the shrimp. The stuffing has a balanced texture and not completely dough feel to it. I prefer the Chinese Shao Mai, but this is probably the best Shumai. |

 |
Amoy Shrimp Shaomai |
Great shrimp flavor and not too soft after steaming. The skin is made of egg yolk mix therefore keeping the shape stable. |

Blazing Wings |
Pilgrim's Blazing Wings are probably the best hot wings from the frozen section. They are very meaty and juicy with a tint of spiciness in the mix. |

Chili'n Penne (Hormel Chili Meals) |
A feeling meal with nice strong chili taste. Overall, it is a great meal, but the penne is on the soft side. |

 |
Cuttlefish Dumpling |
Labeled as a dumping but it is not. Strong flavoring of the cuttlefish despite after boiling in the water. Great rubbery texture. Great for Shabu Shabu or noodle soup! |
|
Chips |
 |
El milagro Tortilla Chips |
This is the best tortilla chips in town (Austin, Texas) and in the world. It is simply the best because of its natural ingredients and taste. |

Noodles |
 |
Go Cha Dried Thin Noodle (Oyster Noodle) |
This should be title Oyster Noodle instead of Dried Thin Noodle. The taste is like any other Go Chad noodles but this Oyster Noodle is well recreated by Go Cha that could be done at home. Just add your oysters and large intestines to make this a meal for four within 20 minutes. I found that the trick to cook this successful is not to over cook the noodle. You should top the noodles off with the corn starch when it is half done. |

Go Cha Vegetarian Chinese Vermicelli |
This $2.99 vermicelli was the bang for the dollar. It is enough to feed four people and tastes better than most noodles served in restaurants. The sauce was light but I do not expect much from a vegetarian noodle. To make it a healthier meal, add Shitake mushroom, bamboo shoots, carrots, and top it off with cilantro. If you are not a vegetarian, try other Go Cha noodles. |

Dumplings |
 |
Jumbo Pork and Vegetable Dumpling |
Soft and tough skin that wraps well with the mix. Great steamed or boiled! |
|
Shumai / Shao Mai |
 |
Konomi Pork and Shrimp Shumai |
I couldn't taste the shrimp but the texture of the pork was in it. I feel like I was eating pork fat or something in chunks. The balance was off, but the taste and texture was comparable to a good Shumai |
|
Instant Noodles |
 |
Kung Fu Artificial Beef Flavor Instant Noodle |
This isa Ve Wong comany in Saigon and the noodle is based on the vietnamese flavor. The packaging was great with vegetables, sauce, and spices in a nice separate package with the noodles. The taste of the noodle was good but there were a lot of msg in the spices used. |

Dim Sum |
 |
Little Chef Crystal Shrimp |
Get stuffing and the wrapper is average. This will be great a great addition to a Dim Sum meal. |
|
Dim Sum |
 |
Little Chef Shrimp Dumpling |
Compare to local Dim Sum store, this brand can replace it. The stuffing is right and the wrapper is right as well. I feel the stuffing could put some more taste to it, but probably just lake of MSG :) |
|
Shumai / Shao Mai |
 |
Little Chef Shrimp Shao Mai |
This is in between the Prime Food's version and most Japanese brand / shumai. The texture is good but the stuffing is not as heavy as Prime Food's. I wonder consider this a fusion between Chinese version (Shao Main) and Japanese version (Shumai) |
